Trump’s biggest victory at the recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland is being utterly ignored by the mainstream media.
And, with good reason. It makes their anti-Trump narrative look pathetic.
If anyone thought Trump was in Davos just to press flesh, think again.
Trump’s all business, and he was definitely about the task of making America great again at last week’s event.
Now, the media couldn’t help but cover Trump’s more public appearances. But what many outlets are failing to report is that he also had a series of meetings with the CEOs of Europe’s top corporations.
And at one of those dinner meetings, something extraordinary happened.
From The Daily Caller:
In a stunning moment, one by one, European titans of industry from companies like Adidas, Siemens and Bayer went around the table to thank Trump for the passage of tax cuts and the easing of corporate tax burdens. Almost every CEO had a new US-based investment or strategic business to announce.
Liberals might initially dismiss this as Trump just helping out more of his rich friends.
As the president of Seimens, Joe Kaeser, said at that dinner, “since you have been so successful in tax reform we have decided to develop the next generation gas turbines in the United States.”
Trump’s tax cuts weren’t about putting money in the pockets of corporate giants. That’s just a means to an end. His goal was creating American jobs.
And that’s precisely what happened.
Seimens and many others will soon be bringing a lot more business, and a lot more jobs, to our shores. All thanks to President Trump.
